Welcome to the University of the Third Age in Bath,
a lively and friendly association offering a
wide range of study and leisure activities for those whose days are no longer
tied to earning a living.
It is a good way to meet people and to make new
friends. Costs are minimal because our activities are organised
by our members, who share their skills and expertise.
There are nearly a hundred different study, creative or leisure interest groups meeting regularly. Each month
except August there is a coffee morning and lecture at the Pavilion, North Parade,
at which a guest speaker gives a talk of general interest. In addition,
outings are arranged to places of interest.
Use the menu to explore in detail what we have to offer. As a member you receive
a monthly newsletter and diary keeping you informed of what is going on. These
are sent by post or email, whichever is requested.
If you are not already a member, we hope you will join us.
The next lecture is on Thursday, 6th October at 10.30am and will take place at the Pavilion.
The title of the lecture is "A Century of the British Musical".
More details on the Monthly Lecture webpage.
Due to major roadworks,
North Parade is closed on 6th October. However, the Pavilion is accessable from the
Pierrepont Street end of North Parade. If you are travelling via Pulteney Road, allow extra time for the diversion.
