As well as working through the school syllabus, we occasionally have a totally different talk from one of the more experienced of our memebrs on a topic of their choosing. One such was a talk by Andy Pepperdine on sangaku, wooden tablets hung in Japanese temples and shrines which contained mathematical problems, usually in Euclidean geometry. The presentation and some examples are available to be examined.
