ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Andrew's company - Minerva Stone, based in Frome - undertakes a very wide range of building conservation work and, in a wide ranging talk, he will describe the skills he brings to this demanding task.

He has worked on scores of ancient monuments, using tools, some of which would be familiar to the ancient Egyptians. His illustrated talk will lift the lid on this work and the challenges it brings.

Andrew is a fellow of the society of antiquarians, has been awarded a William Morris Craft Fellowship, and is consultant to many trustees of ancient buildings, including Salisbury Cathedral.
